The Ancient Murrelet is a seabird that comes to land to breed on the remote islands of Haida Gwaii, off the north coast of British Columbia, Canada. Children of the Sea describes their time on land and the amazing adventure of the chicks between their nest and the ocean shore. Written by Anthony (Tony) Gaston, a founding member of Laskeek Bay Conservation Society, a naturalist and a writer who has been studying Ancient Murrelets in Haida Gwaii since 1984.
